Summary

The U.S. National Venture Capital Association puts out an excellent set of form documents for venture financings. Most of the major firms that represent venture-backed companies use these documents or use a set of forms highly influenced by the NVCA model documents. They also put out a term sheet which is widely used in the industry. All of these documents are actively maintained by legal experts and are free to use.
